The Town of Wheelock is seeking bids to install a new drywall ceiling in the Town Hall basement (approximately 1,342 square feet). The area consists of the town office, workroom, closets, hallway and washrooms. Vault is excluded. The contractor will need to work around the town clerk’s office hours schedule (T-W-TH 8am-3pm) and complete the work quickly to minimize disruption, such as Friday through Monday including evenings. Questions may be submitted by Thurs 9/3/26 and answers will be posted here the next day. Bids must be received by Tues. 9/15/26 at noon. Work must be under contract by 9/30/26 but may be completed late fall or even early 2027.
