How to register to vote:
- In person: Visit Town Clerk and complete a registration form (During normal office hours)
- By mail: Download the voter registration form here https://sos.vermont.gov/media/nesb43yw/2017-voter-app.pdf and mail it to the Town Clerk
- Online: Register to vote using the Online Voter Registration System here. https://olvr.vermont.gov/
How to vote
In person: Polling Place: Tues. Nov 3, Wheelock Town Hall, 10am – 7pm at the Wheelock Town Hall. Please plan to wear a mask and practice social distancing)

Pursuant to the temporary authority granted in Act 92 (2020) and Act 135 (2020), an absentee ballot will be mailed to every active voter on the statewide voter checklist. "Active" voters are any voters that have not been sent a challenge letter by the Board of Civil Authority asking the voter to affirm their residency, or who have responded to any such letter and have affirmed their residence. Ballots will be mailed beginning September 18, 2020 from a central location by the Secretary of State. You do not need to call the Clerk's office to request a ballot, unless you do not receive your absentee ballot in the mail.
Ballots may be returned by mail OR may be returned to the office during normal office hours: Tuesday 12-5:30 pm, Wednesday and Thursday 9-2:30pm. Please be aware that the address on the envelope enclosed for mailing in your ballot is Wheelock Town Hall.
If you prefer to vote in person, you are not required to mark the early absentee ballot. The polling place will be open on November 3, 2020 from 10AM to 7PM at the Wheelock Town Hall. Please plan to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
